National Crown Roast of Pork Day

 March 7th is designated National Crown Roast of Pork Day

 National Crown Roast of Pork Day is a special day to cook and eat pork. To participate in this day it must be crown roast pork. Any other just will not do. I was thinking of making porkchops, but I'm afraid that might not work, however, it's the best I can do to celebrate this day.
No one seems to know the origin of this day.
I read that no one found the creator, or the origin of this day,  but there are blogs  poking fun about it. I've also heard there are Ecards to help celebrate this day, but I haven't personally checked them out.
